I was born on the West Coast of British Columbia, in the small town of Port Alberni on Vancouver Island in 1947. When I was 16, I embarked on a new life in Hawaii.

After graduating high school in Honolulu, I moved to London, England for a year where my aunt and I explored the rolling landscapes. After returning from the UK to Hawaii, I met my husband and started our family. I discovered the love for art and in 1971 where I signed up for my fi rst set of art classes. I and my family lived in Hawaii where we owned a horse stable until we moved back to Canada in 1983.

After retiring in 2015, my husband, Paul, encouraged me to rekindle my love of art by signing up for more art classes. These classes encouraged me to channel the love of landscapes onto the canvas. Inspired by the many beautiful scenes that shaped my early life, I concentrate on creating breathtaking saturated landscapes.
